Our client is a wholesale supplier of furniture in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne. They require a delivery driver to start work immediately.

• Salary: $30.00 per hour
• Monday to Friday – ongoing work
• 7:30 am – 3:30 pm  
• Location: Thomastown

Key Responsibilities and Roles:

• Efficiently manage and organise warehouse operations.
• Safely operate delivery vehicles to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Uphold the highest standards of customer service, making every delivery a positive experience.
• Collaborate with the warehouse & sales team to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Pick/pack orders.
• Unloading occasional furniture containers and put away stock.
• Occasional assemble/disassemble furniture for displays/shows etc.
• Loading of trucks.
• Delivering orders to carrier depots, retail stores, warehouses and occasional domestic customers.
• Comply with HSEMS and company policies and procedures
• Heavy lifting both manual
• Ability to work under or without supervision

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be over 25.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations and delivery driving.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
