Our client is one of Australia's premium, fresh food ready meal manufacturers, operating from our main production facility in Kensington. This is a permanent placement offering a great opportunity for the right candidate, with an immediate start available.

Essential criteria:

• Must have experience working in a full-time food production/manufacturing kitchen, producing retail products for supermarkets.
• Certificate III in Food Handling (Minimum requirement)
• The ability to demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Lead and work as part of a close-knit team. Having a strong work history of leadership within a similar role would be advantageous.
• Must have demonstrated ability to operate to strict deadlines and productions schedules in an extremely busy commercial kitchen environment
• Demonstrated ability to follow and create recipes
• An uncompromising attitude and demonstrated ability to contribute to an extremely high-standard of commercial kitchen hygiene.
• Strong commitment to safety with a thorough understanding of OH&S policies and procedure
• Excellent and diligent record keeping skills
• Strong work ethics
• Computer Literacy an advantage
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends

Desirable criteria:

• Hospitality Cooking experience
• Previous experience using large commercial production equipment

Work Times:

• Afternoon Shift: 3.00pm to 11.00pm
• Night Shift: 11.00pm to 7.00am
