About The Working Holiday Visa & Visa Extension
About 417 Visa
This is 12-month visa which enables you to work while you are in Australia. Applicants should be aged between 18 and 30 (or 35 in some cases) and should hold a passport for a country or region participating in Australia's Working Holiday Maker program.
General Information
The Second Working Holiday Visa (subclass 417) allows you to extend your stay in Australia by 12 more months. This visa lets people 18 to 30 years old (or 35 years old for some countries) who currently hold, or who have held, a Working Holiday visa, have a second working holiday in Australia.
You can apply for the 417 visa extension while in Australia or outside of the country. We can provide you a casual job as a Fruit Packer for 6 months. Apply for the job now, and we will offer assistance the best we can.
Eligibility
To stay in Australia for one more year, you can secure your Second Working Holiday if you
- have previously entered Australia on a subclass 417 visa (First 417 Visa)
- hold a substantive visa or your last substantive visa expired less than 28 days ago if you are currently in Australia
- hold a passport from an eligible country or jurisdiction
- are aged between 18-30 years old (or 35 years old for some countries)
- have completed 3 months of specified subclass 417 work in Australia while on your First 417 Visa
- are not accompanied by dependent children

Our client is one of the largest fresh cherry producers in Australia, located in the Yarra Valley area and is looking for motivated individuals to work in a dynamic team for their busy season.
About the Role:
Location: Lilydale/Coldstream
Own transport needed
Count towards 2nd year Working Holiday Visa (88 days work)
$26.70 per hour plus super
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform routine duties - Sorting & packing cherries
Assembling boxes, labeling boxes, and punnets
Checking fruit for quality, size, sugar level, and defects
Cleaning the work area as required
Operating small machinery
Complying with OH&S and company policies
Skills and Experience Required:
Physical fitness
Good communication skills
Proven reliability and attendance record
Experience working in a similar role is recommended, but not essential
Strong OH&S knowledge
Food-Handling hygiene experience
