Chandler Personnel is looking for CNC Operators to work with our client, a global company and one of Australia’s most innovative and respected specialists in integrated and advanced workplaces of manufacturing furniture.

• 6:15am - 2:45pm
• $34 an hour
• Location: Tullamarine
• Ongoing work

Job tasks:

• Operate the CNC router, performing milling, cutting, drilling, and edging on various workpieces
• Maintain the CNC machinery to a high standard, including regular housekeeping and inspections
• Preparation/fitting of hardware
• Playing a key figure in supporting fellow team members
• Assist in the construction of prototypes
• Adhering to and maintaining our high-quality standards
• Working safely and adhering to all safety policies and standards

To be successful you will have:

• More than 1 year of experience as a CNC operator
• A positive attitude and patience
• A good level of initiative and the ability to problem-solve
• The ability to accept feedback and improve
• Ability to learn practical methods and the use of machinery, technology, and power tools
• A basic understanding of technology, hardware, and functionality
• Excellent time management skills and efficiency
• The ability to work alongside others, receive and comprehend instruction, and also communicate instruction
• Excellent punctuality
